“This picture most accurately summarizes how I feel about this ‘Viral War on Mankind.’ It tells a tale of the soldiers in hospitals and the one nurse working tirelessly around the clock to take care of them. It represents how I feel during this severe shortage of health care workers with a large influx of patients. The smiles on the soldiers faces show how much they appreciate the care they have been given and the nurse’s impact on their lives.

It reflects the pride I have for my nursing practice, the need to instill passion and ongoing dedication to my work, to ensure I perform at the best of my ability. Lastly, it empowers me to obtain more education, to become more knowledgeable in areas I may still be novice in.”
