“I decided to draw, as I felt that it would better interpret how I felt about this pandemic in the role of an ICU nurse and a future advanced practice nurse, and to visually show the importance of nursing in health care. 

This art piece was created as a final project for my master’s program. An aesthetic piece created to represent my perspective and experience of covid-19 and the impact that education has on all aspects of health care.

I am not a creative person, with extraordinarily little artistic skill. However, I felt the amount of words and feelings I had during this pandemic exceeds the boundaries of a paper. With this notion, I decided drawing something would better impact and insight passion on the same topics I feel passionate about.”
